    The Committee on Government Organization moves to amend the bill on page 2, line 3, by striking everything after the enacting clause and inserting in lieu thereof the following:

    “That §21-3-2, §21-3-3, §21-3-3a, §21-3-4, §21-3-5, §21-3-6, §21-3-8, §21-3-9, §21-3-10, §21-3-11, §21-3-12, §21-3-13, §21-3-16, and §21-3-18 of the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, be repealed.

ARTICLE 3. SAFETY AND WELFARE OF EMPLOYEES.

§1. Repeal of selection relating to guarding machinery and dangerous places; standards for construction of scaffolding, hoists and temporary floors; first aid equipment.

    That §21-3-2 of the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, be repealed.

§2. Repeal of section relating to selection guarding shafts, hatchways, wheel holes, elevators and electrical apparatus; requiring correction of unsafe conditions.

    That §21-3-3 of the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, be repealed.

§3. Repeal of section relating to National Electrical Code minimum standards.

    That §21-3-3a of the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, be repealed.

§4. Repeal of section relating to Removal of safeguards.

    That §21-3-4 of the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, be repealed.

§5. Repeal of section relating to control of machinery.

    That §21-3-5 of the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, be repealed.

§6. Repeal of section relating to stairways, passageways and lights; overloading floors or walls; space between machines.

    That §21-3-6 of the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, be repealed.

§7. Repeal of section relating to smoking where prohibited by sign.

    That §21-3-8 of the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, be repealed.

§8. Repeal of section relating to fire escapes.

    That §21-3-9 of the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, be repealed.

§9. Repeal of section relating to food or meals in factories.

    That §21-3-10 of the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, be repealed.

§10. Repeal of section relating to seats for female employees.

    That §21-3-11 of the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, be repealed.

§11. Repeal of section relating to water closets.

    That §21-3-12 of the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, be repealed.

§12. Repeal of section relating to washing facilities and dressing rooms.

    That §21-3-13 of the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, be repealed.

§13. Repeal of section relating to inclosure of streetcar platforms.

    That §21-3-16 of the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, be repealed.

§14. Repeal of section relating to hazardous chemical substances; notice to employees; reports to commissioner; penalties.

    That §21-3-18 of the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, be repealed.”
